The main Sunday service at St Francis is at 10am each Sunday; everyone is welcome to join us at any time.

2nd Sunday 10am Holy Communion
3rd Sunday 10am Morning Worship 3:30pm Messy Church 6pm Taize (run quarterly)
4th Sunday 10am Family Communion
5th Sunday 10am United Parish Service
Midweek Services
Mid week communion rotates between the churches. Please call for details or see the diary section.
Compline (evening prayer) is said in the church every Thursday at 6pm
Styles of Services
Family Service a family friendly service with a more relaxed, informal feeling andworship songs played by our music group. This service sometimes includes Baptisms or Thanksgivings; duration of about 50 minutes.
Holy Communion - A traditional service with some sung responses, organ, choir; duration about 70 minutes.
Morning Prayer this is a formal said service with hymns and organ; duration of approximately 60 minutes.
Evensong is evening prayer with sung responses, hymns and organ; duration approximately 60 minutes.
Messy Church is a more informal style of get together with crafts, a short service and refreshments, for all ages and led by the congregation, duration approximately 2 hrs
Taize - a service of quite, reflective prayer, readings and music played by a music group, duration 60 minutes.
Compline - said evening prayers, no music, duration 20 minutes.
Pastoral Support
Baptisms, Thanksgivings and Home Communions
Baptism for children and adults or Thanksgiving for a child and Home Communions are available. Please speak to Rev’d Doug McHardie, Rev'd Kate Capper or Reader Penny Lochead.
Confirmations
Confirmation Service 5th February 2012 – if you are interested in being confirmed (or indeed are
curious what this means!) please ask Doug, Kate or Kerry about joining Confirmation Classes in January
in preparation for the next Confirmation Service in Horley.
House Groups

Pastoral Care
There is a Pastoral Care Team attached to this Church, who pray regularly for Church and local community. You are welcome to place a prayer request on the link above, leave a message in the intercessions (prayer) book in the Church or speak to a member of the clergy.
