ST FRANCIS' CHURCH

Messy Church is a more informal style of get together for families and young people led by the congregation for anyone who wishes to come!

We have about an hour of crafts, games and activities, a short fifteen minute service (where adults as well as children get chance to look at the Bible in a different light and to learn how faith impacts on our day to day life) followed by chatting and refreshments. We also show films from 2.30p.m. for young people aged 12 and over with drinks and popcorn!

From a standing start it has been evident that Messy Church fills a need. If being in church with your children makes you squirm when they do what children do, Messy Church is the answer! We have craft for everyone, tea, proper coffee and conversation for the adults.

NOT JUST FOR YOUNG FAMILIES!
There is no restriction on our church. EVERYONE is welcome, WHOEVER you are, WHATEVER you are! We judge no-one and welcome EVERYONE. If you just fancy a chat and some "down time" that's fine. Just come along and who knows, you might even discover something to make you think!
